Plan for the whole month, not one day

Ramadan follows the lunar calendar and moves about 11 days earlier each year, so check the dates annually. Place a large order two weeks before Ramadan starts, then plan weekly top-ups: demand stays high all month and peaks again in the last ten days before Eid.

The iftar checklist

  • Frozen appetizers — samosas, cocktail samosas, kebabs and pakoras are the heart of iftar. Nanak Punjabi and cocktail samosas, hara bhara and vegetable kebabs, and paneer pakoras move fastest.
  • Drinks — Rooh Afza and other sharbat syrups (rose, nannari, kala khatta), and mango pulp for lassi and shakes.
  • Falooda — falooda sev and syrups for the dessert stand.
  • Chutneys and dips — tamarind and green chutneys next to the samosas.
  • Biryani and curry staples — rice, MDH spice mixes, oil and ghee for family dinners.

Eid: sweets and bulk

The week before Eid, shoppers switch to celebration mode: sweets boxes, dry-fruit sweets, and bulk rice and oil for family gatherings. Restaurants and caterers place their largest orders of the year — offer bulk samosa cases and 20–40 lb staples, and keep a pre-order list for Eid sweets trays.

The short version

Order big two weeks before Ramadan, top up weekly, lead with frozen samosas and kebabs plus sharbat, then switch to sweets and bulk staples for Eid. Our team can tell you exactly what is available for your route this season.
