Order two to three weeks ahead

Order two to three weeks before the festival. Many families also mail sweets and rakhis to relatives, so demand starts a week early. Use Raksha Bandhan as your test run for the bigger Diwali season: note what sells out.

The sweets checklist

  • Gifting classics — Nanak kaju katli and kaju rolls, Anand Bhogh kaju delight and anjeer dry fruit rolls.
  • Crowd-pleasers — rasmalai (regular, kesar and mango), gulab jamun and rasgulla in retail tins and trays.
  • Ladoos and pedas — boondi and motichoor ladoo, Mathura and Dharwad peda.
  • Dry-fruit sweets — kaju pista rolls and badam burfi (ARF, Anand Bhogh) sell well as premium gifts.

Display and gifting

Put sweets boxes next to the rakhis and greeting cards, and offer two or three gift-box price tiers. A small “ready to gift” shelf near the register catches last-minute shoppers on the day itself.

The short version

Order 2–3 weeks early, lead with kaju sweets and rasmalai, place sweets next to rakhis, and treat it as a rehearsal for Diwali. Our team can tell you exactly what is available for your route this season.
