Order two weeks ahead
Janmashtami falls in August or early September. Order about two weeks ahead, and contact temples early — midnight celebrations mean large orders of prasad sweets and dairy.
The checklist
- Dairy — dahi (including Nanak 5 lb tubs), butter, ghee and paneer. Stock dairy deep: it is the most-requested category of the week.
- Milk sweets — Mathura peda, Dharwad peda and peda assortments from Anand Bhogh, plus rasmalai and ladoos.
- Fasting foods — makhana (fox nuts), sabudana, peanuts and farali snacks.
- Panjiri ingredients — atta, ghee, sugar (including Pura Faith misri) and dry fruits.
Display and temple orders
Group dairy and pedas near the front, and build a separate “fasting” shelf with makhana, sabudana and farali snacks. For temples, offer bulk peda and ladoo trays and confirm delivery the day before.
The short version
Order 2 weeks early, stock dairy and pedas deep, add a fasting-foods shelf, and lock in temple bulk orders early. Our team can tell you exactly what is available for your route this season.
